The Pharmaceutical Society of Jamaica’s (PSJ) Pharmacy Week 2014, November 16 -23 was a tremendous success! Activities were organized by the PSJ’s Central office and by Public and Private Sector pharmacies island-wide. Prior to the official start of the Week the PSJ participated in the annual health fair November 15, at the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Mannings Hill Road, St. Andrew.

The Public Forum: “Chikungunya Epidemic and Ebola Threat – Implications for the Jamaican People” held Monday November 17, was broadcast live on local radio: Nationwide Radio FM 90.3 and 90.7.
A donation of J$350,000 was presented to the National Road Safety Council, on Wednesday November at the Induction and Awards Ceremony at the Hotel Four Seasons, Kingston. This represents proceeds of the Walk-A-Thon organized by the PSJÂ this September.
